1. Who we are
Moitech (“we”, “us”), 1/177 A, Keren Schools Opposite, K.Puliyankulam, Chekkanurani Post, Madurai - 625 514, runs the Moitech app (Play Store id com.moitecch.moimanager). The app is your family's moi book: it shows the moi received at functions run by a Moitech branch, and the moi you record as given.
This policy explains what the app and our servers collect, why, who we share it with, and how you can see or delete it. It applies to the Moitech Android app and the Moitech services behind it.
2. What we collect and why
We collect only what the app needs to keep your moi book. We do not sell your data and the app shows no ads.

Moi records include details of other people, such as your guests. Please record only what is needed for your moi accounts.
3. Phone permissions
The app asks for a permission only when you first use the feature that needs it. You can refuse it, or turn it off later in your phone's settings; the rest of the app keeps working.

The app does not ask for your location, contacts, SMS or call log, and does not send notifications. Moi list PDFs you download are saved in your phone's Downloads folder.
4. Who we share data with
We share data only with the services below, and only what each one needs. We never sell it or use it for advertising.

We may also share data when the law requires it, for example on a valid order from a court or the police.
5. How long we keep data, and deleting your account
We keep your data while your account is open. You can delete your account at any time.
How to delete your account
- In the app: Account › Delete account, then confirm with your password or a WhatsApp OTP.
- Or by email: write to support@moitech.in from your registered email, or with your registered mobile number, asking for deletion. We confirm your identity before deleting.
What happens next
- You are logged out on every device at once.
- Within 30 days we delete your account details, photo, moi given records, profiles, opening balances, assistant questions and device list.
- The receipts of a function stay with the branch that ran it, as its own record of that function, but are no longer linked to you.
- Copies in backups are removed when those backups expire, within 90 days.
- We keep data longer only where the law requires it.
Other time limits
- AI assistant: the last 3 questions of a conversation are kept for 30 minutes for follow-up questions. Questions and answers kept to improve the assistant are deleted after 30 days.
- Firebase keeps analytics data for up to 14 months and crash reports for 90 days.
6. Security, children, your rights and contact
Security. All data between the app and our servers travels encrypted (HTTPS). Login keys are kept in your phone's secure storage, and are not included in phone backups. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will tell you if a breach affects you.
Children. Moitech is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us data, write to us and we will delete it.
Your rights. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 you can:
- see the data we hold about you (most of it is in the app);
- correct it (in the app, or by writing to us);
- delete your account and data (section 5);
- withdraw consent, for example by not using the AI assistant;
- name someone to act for you if you die or cannot act;
- complain to our grievance officer, and then to the Data Protection Board of India.
Changes. If we change this policy, we post the new version here with a new date. For important changes, we also tell you in the app.
